A teenager was found suffering from a critical stab wound in the Kennedy Recreation Center on Thursday night.
Police said Dalontray Williams, 19, died of his wounds after being tranported to the hospital.
Officers said the incident happened on around 7 p.m. After an investigation, police said the stabbing occurred on the 1500 block of 7th Street, on the same block as food charity Bread for the City.
The Metropolitan Police Department says they currently offer a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
