Police are investigating the possibility a man killed when his car was forced off the Baltimore-Washington Parkway last week was targeted as a result of some sort of disagreement, sources told News4.
The driver of a Lincoln sedan that witnesses said forced 19-year-old Terrance "Tee" Lagrue's Mustang off the road fled the scene, police said.
Just before 3 a.m. Friday, the Mustang rolled over and caught fire with Lagrue trapped inside. He died at the scene.
No arrests have been announced.
Family members told News4 Lagrue was the type of young man who walked arm-in-arm with his mother when they strolled through a shopping mall and was never happier than when playing basketball with family members, young and old, at a Silver Spring rec center court near his home.
A Blake High School graduate, Lagrue attended Bowie State University.
