Seven people were injured -- two of those suffering life-threatening injuries -- in a three-car crash on Branch Avenue at Allentown Road in Prince George's County Saturday night.
Most of the injured appeared to be in their teens or early 20s, Fire Department Spokesman Mark Brady tweeted. One victim was middle-aged.
Southbound Branch Avenue was closed during the rescue efforts, which included flying three of the injured to trauma centers. Many of the injured appeared to have been ejected from their vehicles.
There was no immediate information about the cause of the accident.
