A fire was reported at the Capital Hilton for the second time this week.
Crews were called to the hotel around 9:30 a.m. Thursday for a report of a fire in the duct work.
Two days ago, a 2-alarm fire at the hotel forced guests to evacuate, including several mayors from across the country. According to the Washington Post, all fire alarms failed to sound. Guests were alerted to the fire by the smell of smoke and the sound of commotion.
Right now, 16th Street is closed between L and K Street NW.
