A Prince George's County police officer was suspended after allegations that he had sex with a prostitute in his police cruiser.
The officer was off-duty and in D.C. when the alleged incident took place, a representative for the Prince George's County Police Department said.
The officer is under investigation by D.C. police as well as the internal affairs division of his own police department.
At the same time, a D.C. officer is under investigation by the internal affairs division of that police department. A D.C. police representative declined to say what the charges were against that officer.
The Prince George's County officer was suspended without pay.
The prostitution allegations come on the heels of two alleged crimes committed by Prince George's County officers.
Earlier this month, an officer was suspended after two people said the officer demanded cash to overlook driving violations. Last month, an officer was arrested on rape charges after a woman living in the United States illegally told police he pulled her over and attacked her.
