A man was fatally shot in northeast Washington early Thursday morning, authorities said.
Officers were called to the 500 block of 48th Place NE at around midnight, where they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspect information has been released at this time.
The shooting remains under investigation.
