A 36-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition after being struck by a Metro train Wednesday.
According to WMATA, the man was trespassing beyond the platform limit in an unauthorized part of Dupont Circle metro station when he was struck around 7:30 p.m.
The man is in serious condition.
The accident caused major delays along the Red Line.
