One person was killed after a head-on collision in Clinton, Maryland, Saturday evening.
Maryland State Police said the crash occurred along Branch Avenue at Malcolm Road shortly before 9 p.m. They said a vehicle crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head-on.
Troopers said the driver of the crossing vehicle died at the scene. The driver of the other car had to be extracted but refused treatment at the scene.
Investigators have not released the identities of the drivers. They said alcohol is not thought to be a factor in the collision.
