A 24-year-old man broke into a 63-year-old woman's home in Rockville, Maryland last month and raped her, Montgomery County Police said Thursday.
Myles Joshua Bowersox, of Rockville, is charged with breaking into a home about 4:15 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16. Montgomery County Police said he climbed through a window as the woman slept, pulled her shirt over her head so she could not see him and assaulted her.
Bowersox then is accused of holding a knife to the woman's stomach and telling her he would return and kill her if she contacted police. He then crawled out the same window, police said.
Investigators found fingerprints at the scene of the crime and entered them into a national database, which identified Bowersox as the suspect.
He was arrested at his home on Tuesday and charged with rape, sex offenses and home invasion. He is being held without bond.
