A busy road in Temple Hills, Maryland, has reopened after a man was fatally struck by a car Monday morning.
The victim was crossing Suitland Parkway at Naylor Road when he was struck by a car traveling westbound just after midnight, U.S Park Police say.
The victim, who has not been identified, died from his injuries.
Suitland Parkway was closed for over five hours while police completed their investigation. The road reopened just before 5:30 a.m.
The accident remains under investigation.
