The city of Greenbelt, Md., will void hundreds of tickets because of a manufacturer error involving two speed cameras.
The cameras were deemed non-compliant after an investigation.
It was found they had not been properly calibrated after leaving their Swedish manufacturer.
The cameras are located in the 7700 block of Hanover Parkway and in the 5900 block of Cherrywood Lane. They've issued 664 citations since the speed camera program started in October 2012. The citations total $15,936 in fines.
City officials are expected to void all the tickets, during Monday's council meeting.
