Dupont Circle Snowball Fight Draws Hundreds

Snowball fight!

Hundreds of snow revelers took advantage of their snow day Tuesday, traveling to Dupont Circle for a massive snowball fight.

More than 200 people took to Dupont Circle to pummel strangers with the 5 inches of snow that fell in the District.

The event was organized by the D.C. Snowball Fight Association, and was the group's first snowball fight in three years. According to the D.C. Snowball Fight Association's Facebook page, the last huge snowball fight was held Jan. 26, 2011.

The mostly adult gathering fight was a big hit on social media. #DCSnowballFight started trending on Twitter.
