Students and staff at Sharpe Health School in Northwest Washington took a break from class today to help a very special woman celebrate a very special birthday.
Virginia McLaurin turned 103 today. McLaurin, nicknamed "Grandma Virginia" by students and staff, volunteers at the school through the Adopt a Grandparent program. She's volunteered her time at the school for more than 20 years. Those who work with Grandma Virginia say she's an absolute joy to be around.
