1 Firefighter Hurt Battling Blaze at Honda Dealership in Maryland

About 100 firefighters knocked out a blaze at a Honda dealership in Montgomery County, Maryland, that caused upwards of $1.6 million in damage.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue said the fire broke out about 10 p.m. inside the maintenance area of the dealership on Automobile Boulevard in Silver Spring.

Firefighters evacuated the building. One firefighter suffered a minor injury, Montgomery County fire says.

Video from Chopper4 shows dozens of firefighters working in the service area of the building. Flames started to come through the walls and roof and smoke billowed out of the windows.

Firefighters were expected to be at the scene "for quite a period of time," fire officials said on Twitter.

Electric work was ongoing in the building, but the specific cause is still under investigation, firefighters say.
