A firefighter suffered minor injuries after the roof of a burning row home collapsed in northeast Washington Wednesday morning.
Fire crews were called to the two-alarm fire on 15th Street NE near A Street just before 3 a.m.
One person inside the home was able to escape on his or her own. Seven people in an adjoining home were also displaced by the fire.
The injured firefighter is expected to be OK.
Investigators are still working to determine what started the fire.
