The front cab of a trash truck was completely destroyed Tuesday morning after it caught fire while traveling down a Gaitherburg street.
Firefighters were called to Shadow Glen Court about 8:30 a.m. for a report of a fire. The flames engulfed the front cab of the Potomac Disposal truck, leaving it a charred, empty shell.
No one was injured.
A HAZMAT crew was called to the scene to help with a diesel fuel spill and resultant fire.
