Hundreds of students at the George Washington University were evacuated from their dormitory overnight after a fire broke out on the roof.
The fire at Fulbright Hall started at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday. Video from the scene shows flames shooting from the roof. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to that area.
Students were evacuated to a nearby building. They were allowed to re-enter the building just after 5 a.m. No injuries were reported.
Fulbright Hall is an eight-story building that houses 250 second-year students at 2223 H St. NW.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
