A volunteer dive team discovered a bag in the Anacostia River in their search for clues into the disappearance of an 8-year-old girl.
Relisha Rudd, 8, has been missing since March 2014. The dive team from New Jersey found the bag in the river near Kenilworth Park.
Police took possession of the bag and will process it.
Rudd was last seen with Kahlil Tatum, a janitor at the D.C. homeless shelter where her family was staying. Tatum later committed suicide in Kenilworth Park.
