Getting around town can be challenging for drivers in our region, and a new study bears that out.
The INRIX National Traffic Study ranked the most congested cities in the country in 2008, and D.C. was fifth.
The top four in order were Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth.
A similar study conducted in 2007 had Washington fourth and Dallas fifth.
The study also identified the 25 worst bottlenecks in our region. No. 1 is Interstate 395 northbound near the George Washington Parkway and the 14th Street Bridge in Arlington.
