Police are trying to figure out what happened to a man who was found dead in a wooded area near a Northeast Washington high school.
Crime scene investigators reponded to the corner of 55th and Eads streets NE Tuesday to remove the body of a heavily decomposed man.
Police say they recieved a call and checked out the area, which is near H.D. Woodsen High School.
Police officials have not released many details, but sources close to the investigation told News4 the man was found naked and his clothes were nearby.
Sources said there were no signs of blunt force trauma or bullet wounds. At this point, police do not suspect foul play.
The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
