A Baltimore County high school is getting set to reopen with brand new security measures after a shooting incident last year.
Last August, Robert Gladden, Jr., shot and wounded a student at Perry Hall High School on the first day of class. He was stopped from causing further harm after a teacher tackled him.
This year, the school will have cameras and new requirements for checking visitors in a national crime database.
School officials said they are relying on students to speak up when they are worried for their safety.
