Two firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling a large fire at a Bethesda home Sunday night.
Over 85 firefighters responded to the home in the 11800 block of Danville Drive at 11:20 p.m. Two firefighters suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were evaluated at the scene.
Three adults and two children who live in the home got out safely, but the family's cat is missing.
The large fire gutted the home, causing over $1 million in damages. Several vehicles at the home were also damaged.
Fire officials say the accidental fire started on the porch, but the cause hasn't been determined.
