At least five people were taken to hospitals Wednesday morning after a Greyhound bus and a pickup truck collided in Lorton, Virginia.
Police said none of those hurt have life-threatening injuries.
The crash occurred about 7:30 a.m. on Route 123 near Hooes Road, Fairfax County Police spokeswoman Tawny Wright said. Wright said the bus rear-ended the pickup truck.
Reports varied on the number hospitalized -- police reported 12, fire and rescue officials reported five, and Greyhound reported seven.
Another two dozen bus passengers who weren't hurt were taken to a park, where they waited a few hours for another bus to arrive.
Wright said police are investigating to determine whether charges will be placed.
A Greyhound spokeswoman said the bus was traveling from New York to Richmond.
