Police Seek Private School Official in Sex Abuse Case

Montgomery County police are looking for a private school admissions director charged with sexually abusing a student.

Police announced Thursday that a current student at the Washington Christian Academy in Olney, Md., has reported being inappropriately touched by 47-year-old Thomas Charles Wilson. Police said the 14-year-old student told detectives on Wednesday that the incidents occurred on school property between Jan. 1 and Tuesday.

Detectives have obtained a warrant charging Wilson with sexual abuse of a minor, two counts of third-degree sexual offense, and one count of fourth-degree sexual offense.

The academy said Wilson has served as admissions director since 2008.

Police are looking for Wilson, who is believed to be operating an old 2003 Kia SUV, bearing Maryland tags 8062CC.
