Willie Nelson is in trouble with the law again.
The country-singing icon was charged with marijuana possession after six ounces of the substance was found on his tour bus in Texas, The Associated Press reported.
A U.S. Border Patrol spokesman, Bill Brooks, said that Nelson’s tour bus stopped into the Sierra Blanca, Texas checkpoint around 9 in the morning. An odor of pot arose an officer’s attention and a search of the bus revealed marijuana.
The singer and two other people were arrested. Nelson was briefly detained on $2,500 bail and was later released. Sheriff Arvin West of Hudspeth County told the El Paso Times that Nelson said the pot belonged to him.
The Associated Press reported that it tried to reach Nelson’s spokesperson but received no comment on the matter.
Nelson had a previous legal run-in surrounding pot three years ago in Louisiana.
