Rihanna’s no stranger to showing skin, but she may be unaccustomed to farmers telling her to "cover up."
The pop songstress went topless while shooting a new music video for her song "We Found Love" in the farmer’s grain field in Bangor, Northern Ireland, when the farmer, Alan Graham saw the singer frolicking in his field and felt uncomfortable.
“I felt it was inappropriate,” the farmer told BBC News. “I requested them to stop and they did.”
Rihanna began wearing a plaid shirt and worn-in jeans—innocuous enough—but eventually changed into a stars-and-stripes bikini, some risqué red lingerie, a black mesh top, and lastly no top at all, The Associated Press reported.
The Irish farmer told the BBC that he had no idea who the 23-year-old sex symbol was, saying that the name “Rihanna” doesn’t mean anything to him, politely adding that he meant no disrespect.
“I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends,” the farmer said, but expressed hope that some of her wardrobe choices might be a bit more modest in the future.
“Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God,” Graham said.
