Snoop Dogg and his family are ready to fight, fight, fight!
National Signing Day finally arrived Wednesday morning forcing many high school seniors to make a final decision as to where they would play their respective sports in the years to come.
For the rapper's son, Cordell Broadus, his skills as a wide receiver got the attention of several top-rated schools including Notre Dame, Harvard, Duke and Arizona State University.
But with much thought and consideration, Broadus decided to join the University of California, Los Angeles and become a Bruin for the next four years.
"My son first one in the family to go to college proud moment for the broadus family ! @cbroadus," Snoop Dogg wrote on Instagram while his son posed next to a Bruins' jersey. "Ucla goooooooo Bruins ! #21 tune in"

U.S. & World
The day's top national and international news.
Many fans were expecting Broadus to join Patrick Schwarzenegger, Greer Grammer and Miranda Cosgrove at the University of Southern California. In fact, both the college and Snoop Dogg actively recruited the young athlete.
"That would mean the world to me if he went to USC and became a Trojan," Snoop recently revealed to USA Today after persuading his son. "But, it's his ultimate decision that matters the most."

Despite his dad's love for all things cardinal and gold, Broadus ultimately chose to go blue.
Snoop's son will be in some pretty good company. After all, Sean "Diddy" Combs' son Justin recently accepted a full scholarship to play for the football program back in 2011.
