Sister Expects Javier Bardem & Penelope Cruz To Have Children

Javier Bardem's sister expects her brother and his new bride, Penelope Cruz, to have children.

"They have already shown the world that they wanted to, and have gotten, married," Monica Bardem told Hola.com, as translated from Spanish. "And if they have kids, it will be normal and natural."

Monica missed her brother's big day because she was in the middle of opening a new restaurant, but she told the website that both Javier's mom, Pilar, and his brother, Charles, attended the Bahamas nuptials earlier this month.

"They are very happy," Monica said.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the Oscar winners (Penelope got her Best Supporting Actress Oscar for 2008's "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," while Javier got his Best Supporting Actor for 2007's "No Country For Old Men), married earlier this month in a private ceremony in the Bahamas.

Although Penelope has dated a host of leading men in the past, including Tom Cruise and Matthew McConnaughey, she kept her relationship with fellow Spaniard Javier under the radar. The two are rarely photographed together.
