It may be a “Friends” reunion on television—well, at least for two of the six former cast mates.
Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello has reported that Jennifer Aniston is on the verge of a deal to appear on the ABC sitcom “Cougar Town” starring her former "Friends" co-star Courteney Cox, according to sources. Aniston could be featured in an episode somewhere in the early part of the second season of “Cougar Town.”
Ausiello wrote that the network declined to comment; Bill Lawrence, the show’s executive producer, said: “I would love for it to happen but there’ s nothing to talk about yet.”
Aniston and Cox have appeared together on TV since the end of "Friends" in 2004. Aniston was on Cox’s previous series “Dirt” in 2007.
As for Aniston, she’ll be hitting movie screens once again as the star of the upcoming comedy “The Switch,” with Jason Bateman and Patrick Wilson, on Aug. 20.
