This summer at Boordy Vineyards (12820 Long Green Pike, Hydes, Md.), you'll get the wine, dance lessons and a concert.
Every Saturday through Sept. 1, midsummer evening concerts at Boordy include dance lessons at 6 p.m. followed by live music at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the concerts is $20 at the gate or $17 prepaid online.
The vineyards sits on a 240-acre farm, with the winery in a stone barn. Try the Boordy Blush (watermelon and strawberry aromas) and the Riesling. Tastings are a bargain at $5 including a wine glass. With no wine glass, you'll pay $3 for tastings.
Boordy is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Daily tours are at 2 and 3:30 p.m.
